This Week’s WTFacts:
Wow! Busy week what with the I Love Lucy fanatics out in full force against her drunk demonic troll statue. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I want that statue. And I’ll pose for the new one.
If you haven’t read the sculptor’s gracious apology, here it is.
- This is the first time the show added an extra cushion to the couch so Ricky would look taller than Lucy. They didn’t even try to hide it. Do with that info what you will, militant feminists.
- Lucille was in fact very interested in numerology and astrology. Accounts vary as to how invested she really was, but she’s rumored to have chosen character names with “A-R” in them (Ricardo, Carmichael) because of numerology. I even found a conspiracy website claiming the whole show was satanic because of how much she believed in spiritualism and the occult. People forget she didn’t write, direct, or even produce at this point, and this show actually makes fun of numerology.
- Everyone just calm down.

See you Friday!
